The Partnership for International Politics and Diplomacy for Health has developed a slide deck providing an overview of the ongoing global health reform discussions, covering major developments since mid-2025, the drivers behind the current momentum, and the obstacles that could prevent meaningful change.

As this year offers a critical opportunity to design a more fit-for-purpose international system for health, but it is difficult to keep up with all discussions and processes we hope those slides can be useful for anyone who would like to learn more. Reform debates concern the international health community as a whole; broad and inclusive participation is essential to translate discourse into action.

The presentation draws on the Partnership's ongoing series of Insights papers, which include more in-depth analyses of key reform trends and perspectives. It maps the evolving reform landscape, including prominent initiatives such as the Accra Reset and the emerging WHO-hosted process, and highlights four paradigm shifts that could help guide reform efforts.
